Quake

Welcome to Wedge's House of Frags. This is a site devoted to Quake, Quake 1, Classic Quake or whatever you want to call it. There will be Quake 2 (and possibly Quake 3) stuff up here as soon as I can find the time (despite what many think, you do actually have to WORK for a degree) and some editors worth using.

Quake Levels

I have created several of my own Quake levels which are available for download. These are all Deathmatch levels designed for between 4 - 8 players. They will work with more but it could get a bit crowded. I used the Worldcraft editor to create all of these levels.

Platform Complex (Quake 1) - Based around a large room with crisscrossing platforms at different heights connected by ramps. Several teleporters and water at the bottom.

TrapComplex (Quake 1) - A smallish level with a few nasty surprises which can also help those who know what to look for...

Quakeworld

Here is a set of all my current quake skins which I use in deathmatches (I frequent quake.globalnet.co.uk - Maybe I'll frag you there...). There are quite a few skins including one of Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. You will need to be using Quakeworld to make any use of these skins.

Skin Collection 1 - This has only one skin at the moment. Thisis a skin which looks like James Bond. Complete with Pierce Brosnan's face.

Quake Scripts

I have written several quake scripts to automate functions in quake.

simply bind the actions in each of these scripts to a key in your config.cfg and enter the line 'exec [script file name]' into your autoexec.cfg file.

Rocket Jump Script - This script automates rocket jumping. By pressing a single key you can initiate a rocket jump. But be warned; this will reduce your health by about 30%

Animated Name Script - For running at the end of the level to send a message such as "You were fragged by [name]".

Automatic insults - By a single keypress you can send pre-written insults to other players.

That's it for the moment. More stuff to come soon.

Happy Fragging, and remember;

Shoot First, Ask questions later"
