I've been working in the web field since 1997, both freelance and employed, on a range of projects from design work and theme implementation all the way up to bespoke and open source content management.

Routes into languages is a UK government funded project to increase the takeup of language learning among schoolchildren via providing increased support for language teachers and educators.

I worked on this site over a four year period whilst employed at LLAS.

Originally a bespoke .NET CMS, I was initially responsible for the maintenance of this CMS and adding new features which involved extensive use of VB.NET and HTML/CSS. ChG Southampton is a spinout company from the University of Southampton, specialising in rare glass production.

As a freelance job, I was brought in here to do some updates to an existing site. This involved the assesment and rationalisatioon of the site's many existing pages, as well as some extra .NET and HTML content work. I also built paypal integration into the product pages, with the aim of allowing people to buy custom glass items.

The brief for this project was to create a small yet informative website for a local post-production sound company. The client required 5 initial pages to provide a web presence and inform prospective customers of the company's existence and contact information.
